1. Categories of TETFUND Manuscript Development Grants this Institution is accessing is in the area of supporting academic staff to convert their teaching manuscript into books
  2. The Institution is enjoying a regular grants from TETFUND in the area of manuscript development
  3. The internal and external procedures for accessing Manuscript Development Grants in this Institution is that first there is a Manuscript Committee that use to screen all manuscript submitted. The screening procedures ensure that the Manuscript is at tertiary level, it was originally written by the staff (or group of staff), the staff are fully confirmed.
The External procedure include the committee would check reports of reviewers, notice of acceptance from publisher. After screening, the committee would forward the nominated manuscript to the Rector for approval. A submission would then be made to TETFUND including the nomination forms, reports of reviewers, publishers bill on official invoice, recommendation note by the institution, resume(s) of the authors(s), a request letter from the rector to the ES. After the approval and disbursement payment would be made to the beneficiaries. As part of retirement of the intervention 10 copies of the books, evidence of submission to national library, evidence of payment to the publishers would be forwarded to the TETFUND
