- Categories of TETFUND Conference Attendance Grants in my Institution is accessing include Local and International Academic Conferences for academic staff. Local Workshops and conferences for the non-academic.
- This Institution enjoys regular Conference Grants on an annual basis from TETFUND.
- The procedure for accessing Conference Attendance Grants in my Institution academic staff wishing to attend a particular conference would forward their abstract acceptance together with a flier of notice of the conference date, time, venue, location to the Conference Committee for screening. The Committee comprises of the Deans and Directors of the various schools in the Institution. The non-academic staff can also submit their own local invitation, acceptance with a flier of notice of the conference to the conference committee. The committee uses some procedures to screen staff to attend the conference that includes: The staff must be confirmed staff, the staff must apply to attend the conference, the staff must have acceptance to attend the conference. After the screening, the successful staff with their Conference Attendance supporting documents would then be forwarded to the Rector for approval. A submission including the Rector’s request would be forwarded to TETFUND including the minutes of the meeting of the Conference attendance committee.
- A submission to TETFUND is made to include more than two months before the conference date. The submission would also be in hard copy and soft copy.
- The Institution use to apply all other TETFUND guidelines and procedures.
